well anyway, this week is my first week at intern @ CGH and frankly speaking it is okay, just that Theresa and I get a little too bored sometimes. afterall, in the hospital it is real samples, they cannot anyhow also. But Dr Jiang and Dr Tan say that they will arrange for more hands on practices for us! so yay! for excited. tho im not very good at practicals but practicals always makes me happy! so yes. im gonna do it.
This week i like quite unlucky la. got some hiccups and i need to pay a penalty. But i admit that i am wrong. So, ill just take it that im being responsible enough to bear the consequences and that pay for a lesson to remind myself to be more careful in the future.
Another thing that has always been on my mind is about results. Im really afraid. and i don't intend to tell my mom about it because i know that i will flunk (in my standards). my mom respects my decision to keep my results a secret, so even if the school sends it to my mom, without my consent she won't open it. My mom :') and the worse part is i think it is released on the day of her birthday. i have no idea how am i gonna fake a smile. let me practice more these few days first. sigh. okay. im done whining.
NOW FOR THE FUN PART.
I, GOH CHEW LIN JESSICA, FINALLY WENT OUT WITH A BUNCH OF GIRLS.
it has been AGES since i last went out with a bunch of girlfriends. i always go out in small groups. like bestie, char and sinclair, or with weishi and theresa, or with catherine. I don't go out too often with leepeng and pearlyn because everytime im free, they are busy. so well. I always go out in groups of 4 or less. BUT TODAY. I WENT OUT WITH A GROUP OF 6 (INCLUSIVE OF ME). and im so happy because i finally feel like im having a life again. It has been so long since i went out. After i snapped during the finals for this semester, i kinda not only come to realise about how much stress i have been putting on myself, but also how little time i am giving my friends as well. Even my mom is trying to make me go out more. Somehow when i shop with my friends, she don't have any comments but if i go shop alone and buy stuffs back she will niam one. LOL. i think she just want me to go out and have fun. And have friends. so anyway, i went out with my YEP buddies and it was SO SO SO FUN!
heres a ootd that i took, headless also (i cropped it out purposely). i took it when i came home, because i was rushing for RWB warehouse sales with my sissy. (which i didn't manage to go because the queue was freaking 5 hours). damn funny how my sister had to ask me what to wear, how to wear. it used to be me bugging her. Now its her. HAHA. well, made her wear the skirt that she bought ages ago so that i can wear them. both of us have this rule that if its my clothe, no one can wear it until i have worn it once. tho i let her wear my new clothe this morning, because i bought it for her to match that skirt la. She always complain that she dont know how to match it. And i saw that it covers her back so, BUY LA. since 20% discount also. hahaha.
So anyway, after the failed attempt to buy clothes at RWB warehouse sale, we headed to town and my sissy left to meet my uncle (which she ended up not, and nua at home the whole day). OH RIGHT. I HAVENT SAY WHO I GO OUT WITH RIGHT. OKAYOKAY. I WENT OUT WITH

we went to town and then we shopped around until Lamyu came to find us after her cca. Went to editors market to shop as well! i realise that i picked up the habit of snapping photos in the fitting room so that i can view them after i try during contemplation whether to buy or not. come come, i show you what i buy. (also headless la)
I bought the romper (an attempt to buy clothes my age) and the other 2 skirts. they are organza material and are super pretty. i picked the blue one within one minute i stepped in the shop. LOL. i wanted to get another skirt (which cass prompt me to try) but it was already reserved so :( nevermind, give me more time to work out and be more confident in wearing those first. Because thats a bodycon maxi skirt. (i hope its maxi. hate how they always end at my ankle. im not even THAT tall. my body proportion T.T) so well, spent like 75 bucks there. hahaha. but they all cost 25 bucks each, WHICH IS WITHIN MY BUDGET FOR EACH CLOTHING I BUY. i refuse to buy anything more expensive than 25 bucks unless its a jacket/outer or jeans or shoes. hehehe. that's why i always got alot of "lobang" because i want to know where got sales! then can buy clothes cheaper. YAY.
So after shopping, and lamyu came, we went to have lunch at Eighteen chef. Second time there, and i do predict a third. Had fun talking to them as well. It is very different from the topics i talk with my other girlfriends, so it is a whole new experience for me. Though i pretty much slip into food coma shortly after. heh.
Walked to scape and flea after lunch and just window-shopped. didn't want to spend too much because i know we will be having TWG high tea afterwards.
We headed to Orchard after that and had TWG high tea~ shared the set with Lamyu and she's damn cute. Everything also want to try. hahaha!
and then there was this 2 groups of 3pax guys sitting near our table and they were like snapping selfies and shots of their friends, asking the staff to help them take photo. Okay la, i know it is like a common thing to take photos but THEY WERE TOTALLY ACTING LIKE HOW WE GIRLS DO IT YKNOW. all the candid shots, all the selfies. ermagerd. we were judging them so badly (but we got our karma when we attempted our group selfies outside Cartier). then after chit chatting even more and settling the bill, we went out and took group shots! super hilarious. cos it was outside and people at the escalator could see the weird faces that we were making. TOTALLY JUDGING US LIKE MAD.
Well, this happened. hahahahhahaha.
then we continued to walk and then Mel and Lynette left, then Cass left and then Huiqi, Lamyu and I continued to FEP to look at more clothes. But didn't buy (YHF didn't put the clothes that i wanted to try. im a sad girl okay not really actually). After a while, we realise that most stores are closed, so we headed home! Talked to Lamyu even more and finally reached Serangoon where i alighted.
It was a super fun day! thanks to these lovelies. I can't wait for the next outing with them. And Note to Self: Go out with friends more often, it keeps my mind off negativity and stop being so anti social. till next time~
