So anyway, today is a day out with my dearest bestie ^^ always like to meet her to go out for food and today we decided to go to the National Museum. Other than shopping and stuffs, i do enjoy trips to the museum and stuffs. I like how i can just not talk and see and enjoy the silence. HAHA. Like how i like to go shopping alone, go library alone, go Starbucks alone, go everywhere alone. Oh god, im turning into a loner seriously.
Well, so i met bestie at dhoby first. i actually arrived earlier because i wanted to try some clothes that is available in retailer stores and online. and to my dismay, the item is OOS now. omma say its a sign to stop shopping. hahaha. but meh, i wanna buy somethings from yhf.
so this is my today's #ootd.
i tell you, this one got story one.
I was like trying to take picture with my face and they all turn out really ugly. so i tried with my "will never fail" peace sign pose. BUT IT STILL FAIL COS GOT MY FACE.Then i tried to go back to my usual way of taking ootd. by using accessories to reduce awkwardness but then i look like im using the clutch to hack my head. So then i gave up and look down to hide my face. hahahahhaa.
So then, i was watching "I Not Stupid Too" on TV and damn, i cried like 5 times. I never fail to cry at any Jack Neo's film. well other than ABTM. So i left home with really swollen eyes. oh my god.
Met bestie to dhoby and we went to try Hungry Chimps. Wont say that its food is excellent, prolly only 3/5 cos the sauce they use is different from outside but their seafood aglio olio really abit bland. It only has the really spicy taste but other than that was nothing already. But its a really great palce to hang out. Cos it has a nice ambiance (: oh and its quite cheap too. their lunch deals.
The museum is really awesome. Its free admission for Singaporeans and PRs, SO PEOPLE GO AND SEE SEE LOOK LOOK KAY.
So we got our tix and we headed upstairs to walk around the galleries.

These were all the cosmetics. and see the magazines there? Those are Her World magazines! BACK IN 1961 AND 1962!!!! And im not sure if you can see, but the far right, where there is this greenish thingy? ITS A HAIR DRYER. HAVE YOU SEEN ANY HAIR DRYER THAT CUTE?!

This is a cheongsam owned by Elizabeth Choy i think. It has words on it. I think she wore it to meet the Queen if i didnt remember wrongly.
So after we ended our walk in the Fashion Gallery, the friendly sercurity guard came to ask us to go to the history Gallery first. Because it was closing at 5pm and he didnt want us to miss it. How nice is he!

It would actually synchronise the audio with the exhibits and have explanations for the exhibits. all we have to do is to follow the numbers on the floor and press it accordingly on the device.
Bestie asked me why they display all the broken piec. Well i suppose that when retrieving antiques, its really hard to get them back in one solid piece. There's bound to be wear and tear.

I saw this water pump and the first thing that came into my mind was Vibrio cholerae. Because it was first suggested that it was waterborne by Dr Snow because when he deactivated the water pump, the cases of cholera decreased. #sciencestudent
I was jumping in joy when i saw these. idky. TV makes me happy. And not to mention how cute they are.

oh and during this walk, we sat down at one place to watch about Singapore history. The Sang Nila Utama story. and i subconsciously smiled because i thought of my YEP mates. I miss them so much. Still so upset over missing the gathering on Saturday. :3

Okay, we ended our trip to the museum. and we went have a look at the shop there. There's thiswatch that is like super cute! it says kancheong and the second hand is a spider. So it means kancheong spider. hahaha! i wanted to get it but its 36 bucks. T.T its white too.. and it describes me... hahaha. im a kancheong spider. tho i kinda learnt the art of sabai from the Thais (:
After that we walked to Bugis. And we stopped by Rocher Beancurd to have a little teabreak. Collected the beancurd tarts and continued towards Bugis. Bestie left for dance and i wanted to leave for home. then,i bumped into Darren, Samantha and Tcher Melvin. They say i look like im wearing my costume for comp. pffft :3 after that i went to bugis street (totally forgot about going home because i remembered that mom's gonna be late and i have to settle my dinner outside) and walked around aimlessly. Had dinner at Starbucks, continued walking aimlessly then i headed home. (:
and i bought my organiser for next year already! (: 5 bucks only. hohoho. i super blur one, so i keep an organiser to remind mysel Without it, ill promise people outings and things get out of hand.
